Qualified Replace Your Ride program applicants can receive up to $12,000 to replace their own older, high-polluting vehicle with a newer vehicle, upgrade to a plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle, or an e-bike or an alternative transportation card. This program is available to vehicle owners residing within the South Coast AQMD Jurisdiction who meet the income and vehicle requirements.
Your replacement vehicle can be a new or used plug-in hybrid, battery electric, or fuel cell. The amount of incentive depends on your household income, where you live, and the type of replacement vehicle you choose.
